Jean-Claude Brisville (bois-colombes, May 29, 1922) is an editor, writer, playwright and screenwriter French.
Brisville began his career as a literary journalist. He then worked in different publishers (Hachette, Juilliard) and was director Livre Poche between 1976 and 1981. He has written novels for young people and plays. In this last facet has achieved international success. For his career as a dramatist was in 1990 the Grand prix du théâtre of the French Academy.
* 1985: Encuentro de Descartes con Pascal joven (título original: L’entretien entre M. Descartes avec M. Pascal le jeune). Recrea un hecho histórico real: la conversación que mantuvieron los dos filósofos el 24 de septiembre de 1647 en el convento de los Mínimos de París, en la única ocasión en la que estas dos personalidades coincidieron en su vida. Premiered at the Paris Theatre of Europe in 1985, with address Jean-Pierre miquel and henri virlogeux as Descartes and Daniel mesguich like Pascal.
* 1989: Dinner (original title: Le souper). The action is set in Paris, the evening of 6 July 1815. Talleyrand receives at home to Fouché and kept a strained conversation on the political situation (Napoleón has definitely lost power after weeks before being defeated in the battle of Waterloo and the capital is taken by the joint forces.) Another premiered September 20, 1989 in the Montparnasse theater directed by Jean-Pierre miquel and Claude rich and Claude brasseur on paper protagonists of Talleyrand and Fouché, respectively.
