Jorge Hernandez Aldana

Jorge Hernandez Aldana is a filmmaker Venezuelan residing in the City of Mexico.

In 1986 he entered the University Simón Bolívar in Caracas, to study Electronic engineering; However, their 23 years decided leave everything to the world of cinema. In 1993 he joined the Lodz film school in Poland. In 2002 his short A step above the clouds WINS Short Film Festival of Caracas. In 2007 he opens his directorial debut, The night Buffalo, based on the novel of Arriaga. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and is now rotating at the film festival circuit.

It is currently shooting a documentary about the American rock band the mars Volta premiering at the end of 2008.
