José Antonio Martínez Suárez

José Antonio Martínez Suárez (Villa cañás, Province of Santa Fe, Argentina;) (2 October 1925) is a film director Argentine.

His films made among crack (1960) and the boys before did not use arsenic (1976). His film education workshop is internationally renowned and it has been over 120 documentaries at festivals around the world. Since 2008 he is President of the Festival of cinema of Mar del Plata international.

Biography

It has two sisters, the famous twin Mirtha and Silvia legrand (Rosa María Juana Martínez and María Aurelia Paula Martínez, 1927). The director and producer film Daniel tinayre (1910-1994) was his brother-in-law and actress Joan Viale is his grandniece on the part of its sister Mirtha.
