José Ignacio Cabruja Lofiego (Caracas, 17 of July of 1937 – Porlamar, Margarita Island, October 21, 1995) was a prominent playwright, theatre director, actor, chronicler, soap opera writer, librettist of radio dramas, author of screenplays, moderator of radio, humanist and designer of Venezuelan born in Caracas political campaigns. Died in Porlamar, Margarita Island, October 21, 1995, of a heart attack. How is considered one of the innovators of the genre of soap opera in Latin America and called the master of Telenovelas.

Life

Son of a humble family, lived his childhood in the Caracas neighborhood of Catia. José Ramón Cabruja Esteso and Matilde Cabruja Lofiego parents. His name is “cabruja” and it was changed when he lived a unique story that arose during his tenure by the University Theatre (TU), the confusion arises from a journalist who published a note on Cabrujas performance in the you, adding the “S”, apparently the young actor you liked so much that he decided to continue using the “S” and is from the moment he begins to hear “José Ignacio cabrujas”.

He studied law at the Universidad Central of Venezuela, but his foray into the University Theatre revealed his true vocation and soon abandoned the race.

He married three times; in 1960 contracted married democracy López and a year later was born his first son Juan Francisco Cabruja, the marriage lasted five years; in 1976, married his costume and producer Eva Iványi [1], with whom he shared a decade; in 1985 he married modified illustrious singer, musicologist and Venezuelan choral Director Isabel Palacios, with whom he has to his son Diego Cabruja, [2] [3] also dedicated to the music.
