Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)

To make sure your ideas are protected when you hire a screenwriter, we have a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) in place. It simply states that we will keep your information confidential and that you’ll retain all rights to your work and any writing we write for you. You can sign it digitally, which eliminates the hassle of having to print, sign, scan, and send it.

Understanding Your Story

With a better understanding of your needs, we can answer any specific additional questions or concerns you may have. We can also follow up with a phone call, text message, or instant messenger. Whatever works best for you.

Confident we completely understand your requirements and goals, we begin by writing the treatment (assuming you don’t already have one).

Treatment Writing – Planning

When you hire a screenwriter, the film treatment is key. It works as a detailed plan for the screenplay. It organizes, outlines, and summarizes the yet-to-be-written screenplay. For a movie, it contains a logline (concise, one to two sentence summary), description of each main character, and a detailed, 3-act summary. For a TV series it includes the same parts except instead of one summary, it has a brief summary of each episode of the first season.

Once you have received the treatment, feel free to provide any feedback, comments or revision requests. We will revise at no additional charge.

When you are satisfied with the treatment, we can write the full screenplay. Installments are accepted and we will even refund the cost of the treatment in the final screenplay installment!

Screenwriting Installments – Hire a Screenwriter

To make it more affordable to hire a screenwriter, you may order your movie screenplay in as many as 4 installments. In a 3-act movie screenplay, the first act comprises approximately 25% of the screenplay; the 2nd act is 50% and the 3rd act is 25%. Although the 2nd act is twice as long, it is made up of 2 parts. As such, you can order each 25% at a time. For a TV show, you can order in as little as 10-page installments. One page equals approximately one minute of screen time.

After you receive each installment or part of the screenplay, provide feedback. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, just let us know. We will be happy to answer any questions and if you want anything edited or revised, just let us know in detail and we will make the changes.

When you are happy with the first installment, we will begin writing the next part.

We repeat the process until the final installment.

Marketing

Once you are happy with the completed screenplay, we can develop a marketing plan should you want to sell your screenplay.
