Juan Bautista Stagnaro (b. 1945) is a film director argentino. Movies that has shot among the multipremiada houses of fire (1995) and Camila (1984), screenplay Oscar-nominated.

Biography

Born in Mar del Plata in 1945, where his father, an Italian immigrant, was fishing. His family then moved to the traditional Genoese neighborhood of La Boca.

Introduced to the art publishing a book of stories at age 19, difficult task of birds, which received the sponsorship award of the National Fund of arts. He studied cinema at the national school of cinema, receiving of film-maker, and Economics at the University of Buenos Aires, receiving Bachelor’s in political economy.
