Pedro Masó Paulet (Madrid;) 1927 – 26 January was; (September 23, 2008) was a director, screenwriter and producer Spanish.
Biography
Pedro Masó has been tireless in the cinematographic field Spanish active. In total, 14 films he directed, wrote 146 scripts and produced 82 films, not to mention his work as a television Director and producer: claimed six series, some of them classics as gold rings (1983) or central Brigade (1988).
His relationship with cinema dates back to when was Studies Chamartín buttons. Going slowly climbing positions: 20 years was production assistant of José Luis Sáenz de Heredia in the shooting of the scandal (1943). In 1953 he debuted as a screenwriter in as Earth and he was appointed head of production with just twenty-six years. Participates in successful titles like Manolo urban guard (1956) and Los Angeles on the steering wheel (1957). Signed in 1958 the indent of one of the most famous titles in the history of Spanish film, the girls of the Red Cross, opened the doors of the film with the 1961 film direction Three of the Red Cross. A year following (1962) becomes producer to create his own company, Pedro Masó productions motion picture, you get some of the biggest successes in commercial film Spanish as robbery at three Ivette holiday, one million in the trash, the city is not for me and the family trilogy, the family and one more and family well, thank you.
In 1986 he founded society Scorpio Films, S.A. as a subsidiary of Pedro Masó productions film and produced his first feature film based on the novel of Miguel Delibes, led by Antonio Mercero, entitled El Tesoro.
Television made gold rings (1983), secondary school (1985) (both with Ana diosdado as screenwriter and protagonist), Central Brigade (1989), with imanol Arias and 1993 directs and produces for Antena 3 TV series composite and no boyfriend, Lina morgan and José Coronado.
