Robert Benton (1932), film director and screenwriter American.

Biography

Born on 29 September Waxahachie, Texas. He studied at the University of Texas.

He started writing scripts along with his colleague David Newman while collaborating editor at Esquire magazine. Success came in Kramer against Kramer that besides screenwriter was also that directed the film.

2 of her paternal uncles were murdered by unknown cause.

Usually writes all scripts of his films.
