Celina Murga (born 6 April 1973;) (Paraná, Entre Ríos) is a film director and screenwriter argentina. In spite of his short career he has won several awards.

Activity in the cinema

He studied at the Film University in which then remained as teacher. He was writer and Director of several short films, which include Interior-Noche (1999) and A happy afternoon (2002). Also worked as Assistant Director in several films: Saturday (2001), just for today (2001) and the bottom of the sea (2003). His first feature film, Ana and the others (2003) received many accolades and critical acclaim awards and Tomic interest by the National Institute of film and media arts. The second film entitled A week alone (2007) was released as part of the Buenos Aires International Independent Film Festival and has been the subject of international awards.

In 2009 he has obtained a Rolex scholarship to study for a year with martin scorsese.
