Aaron Joseph “Joe” Carnahan (Delaware, May 9, 1969) is a film American, best known for directing films such as Blood, Guts, Bullets and Octane, Narc or Smokin’ ACEs. It is the brother of the writer Matthew Michael Carnahan.

Career

Born in Delaware, but grew up in Detroit, Michigan and Sacramento, California. Soon Carnahan began working for Channel 31, a local television Sacramento, where produced several short films in the 1990s as ‘ Wired to Blow’, ‘Gunpoint’ or ‘For Sale By Owner.’ In 1998 criticism reacted positively to his Blood, Guts, Bullets and Octane film for which was awarded in 1997 with New York’s Independent Feature Film Market and then, in 1998 at the Sundance Film Festival.

In 2002, he directed thriller Narc with Ray Liotta and Jason Patric. And estuo close direct Mission: Impossible III, produced by Tom Cruise and Paula Wagner but left the project because of differences with senior staff.

One of his most notable films is ases hot (Smokin’ ACEs), 2007.

In 2009, directed the film Killing Pablo and the remake of the 1980s, The A-team series.
