Bobby Vernon (9 March 1898 – June 28, 1939) was an American actor of the era of silent cinema, numerous early both comic and romantic roles interpreter.

Biographical summary

Born in Chicago, Illinois, his real name was Sylvion garden.

Vernon was the son of remarkable actress Dorothy Vernon and his first appearance on stage took place when he was only eleven years old. Five years later was already acting in comedies Joker of Universal Studios.

Began starring in romantic comedies of Keystone Studios next to Gloria Swanson in 1915 and 1917 starred in productions directed by Al Christie.

He was supervisor of Paramount Pictures in movies interpreted by W.C. Fields, among others, and already initiated and screenwriter of sound film era.

Bobby Vernon died of a heart attack in 1939 in Hollywood, California. He was buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Glendale, California.
