Tim Blake Nelson (May 11, 1964) is an American film director and actor.

Private life

Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, son of Ruth Kaiser Nelson Tusla pilantropa and a remarkable social activist. Nelson is Jewish;[ 4 ] maternal grandparents escaped from the nazis little World War II, moving to United Kingdom in 1938 and migrating towards United States in 1940.

He attended Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute at Quartz Mountain Resort Arts and Conference Center of Lone Wolf, Oklahoma.[ 7 ] In 1982 graduated from Holland Hall of Tulsa [ 1 ] and in 1986 he graduated from Brown University, where he studied art and classical culture.[ 8 ] In 1990 graduated from the Juilliard School.

He currently lives in New York with his wife, Lisa Benaveides, and their three children. Nelson may 8 2009, was admitted as an honorary member of the University of Tulsa.

Career

Nelson has performances in Holes, Heavyweights, Minority Report, Scooby-Doo 2, Monsters Unleashed, Meet the Fockers, The Good Girl, Syriana, etc. Is crítico-aclamada HBO’s Warm Springs film. Nelson also had a role offered as Delmar film O Brother, Where Art Thou?. Directors Joel and Ethan Coen, he was the only one in the mold or the team who had read the Odyssey of Homer, work on which the film is based. He sang in “in the Jailhouse Now” soundtrack. He has written and directed the films the grey area and Eye of God.
