Isaac aisemberg was a writer, playwright and screenwriter Argentine born 22 January 1918 and died December 26, 1997. His most notable contributions include their collaboration in the film adaptation of the man of the pink corner of Jorge Luis Borges tale and novel question of dice.

Aisemberg was born in General Pico, La Pampa province, attended primary and secondary between Córdoba and Buenos Aires and went through the University of Buenos Aires and La Plata. He was Advisor to the Secretariat of culture of the nation, sworn at film festivals, partner in the Festival film of Mar del Plata international, Member of the Court of hyphens in the Institute of cinematography, Professor in journalism schools, was head of the the circle of the press, and was President of the society General of authors of the Argentina(Argentores).

He wrote numerous short stories, novels and plays, including it’s later than you think, there is No rose on the grave of the marine, there is No eyes here and Fourth World War. Some of his works were translated for North American editions and his novel question of dice, as well as its volume of checkmate in two plays, stories they are listed in important international anthologies. He was awarded the prize Honor Argentores.

Between other scripts he wrote of the boat, the river and the people, the rabona and movies under the sign of the homeland. When I was writing this last indent in 1971, a period in which a Government mlitar, ruled Argentina general González Filgueira, President of the Belgraniano Institute, said it had objected from the SIDE (service of State intelligence) a Jew to write about the motherland and the flag by which Aisemberg (actually was Catholic) decided to sign it under the name of Ismael mountain.

Said about that film critic Fernando Peña which “can humiliate almost all of the examples the genre took place at that time.” Rhetoric is avoided with lacónicos texts that achieve eluding marble, while the image holding a dusty, clear tone.

Without concrete projects include a version of an excursion to ranquel Indians who worked with Mario soffici and an adaptation of the story the intruder by Jorge Luis Borges, who performed with René Mugica. In collaboration with René Mugica (which Aisenberg considered very pleasant) were also two libretti presented in the competition for the cinematography Institute in 1979, The Mr Brown and the outback: one was awarded the first prize and the other a mention.

It was a great charlista memorious and captivating for those who listened. He died on 26 December 1997 while serving duties of director of the Centre of experimentation and filmmaking (CERC), the National Institute of cinematography film school.
