Ken Finkleman (born 1946 in Winnipeg, Manitoba) is a Canadian television and film writer.

Canada, Finkleman is best known as a writer, creator and producer of the CBC series: The Newsroom, which he represents to television news producer George Findlay. He also produced other Canadian television series including married life, foolish heart, foreign objects and More tears. Each of these series also included Findlay as linker character.

Does Finkleman also wrote the screenplays for many Hollywood films in the 1980s, including Grease 2, Airplane II: The sequel and the Madonna movie Who’s That Girl?. Their television productions are seen, partly as a reaction to his experiences in Hollywood.

His brother, danny finkleman, is a great personality on CBC Radio One, who retired as a presenter of Finkleman’s 45s in 2005.

His latest work At The Hotel is a six-part mini-series that debuted on CBC television on March 7, 2006.
