Sam Hamm (born 19 November 1955) is a screenwriter American whose best-known works may be scripts for Batman films directed by Tim Burton. As a result of such work, be invited him to write the comic Batman for DC Comics. The result was Batman: Blind Justice (justice blind), where he made his first appearance, Henri Ducard, mentor Bruce Wayne, who later appeared in Batman Begins. Other works by Hamm include Never Cry Wolf and Monkeybone. Also wrote drafts for adaptations to film planet of the apes and Watchmen, although these were not used.
