WHO WE HELP

Screenwriters for Hire can work with you as a ghostwriter or credited screenwriter. Based in Tampa, Florida, many of our screenwriters have worked for or in the Hollywood film industry. Some love it while others, due to creative differences, chose to break out of the Hollywood bubble and into streaming movie and TV video platforms such as Netflix and Hulu, and even traditional television studios. As such, we understand the needs of these competing markets. We can help you to the next step of the writing process and beyond.

Idea to screenplay. Turn your idea into a movie or TV treatment and screenplay.

IDEA TO SCREENPLAY

For those early in the writing process, we can help. From the free initial consultation about our idea to screenplay services, signing a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), helping to develop your idea through coverage and phone consultation services, creating a treatment and then writing a screenplay, and even marketing your completed script.

TREATMENT WRITING

The film treatment is an essential planning and marketing document for your movie or TV show. Logline (one to two-sentence attention-getting summary), description of characters, and a plot summary of the movie or a summary of each TV series episode.

SCREENPLAY WRITING

Working from the film treatment, we can write your TV series, limited series, or movie script. The screenplay contains all the scene headings, actions, character names, parentheticals, and dialogue. One page is about one minute of screen time.

GHOSTWRITING

Ghostwriters are uncredited, confidential screenwriters. Ghostwriting is a matter of whose name will appear on the screenplay title page and in the film credits. We can ghostwrite your screenplay and are happy to sign an NDA or speak with you first.

SCRIPT FORMATTER

Are you confident your script is properly formatted? With our script formatting services, we will format your script to industry standards. We can share it in multiple formats such as PDF, FDX, and more.

SCRIPT EDITOR

Ensure your script is free of any typos, grammatical errors, misspellings, and other issues with our editing and proofreading services. editing differs from rewriting/script doctor services.

SCRIPT DOCTOR

Can your draft benefit from a rewrite? With our script doctor service, we can improve your script by focusing on specific elements of your story, characters, and structure.

COVERAGE SERVICES

We offer coverage services — professional feedback and suggestions — for your treatments, screenplays, and book to screen adaptations.

QUERY LETTER

Writing a query letter is your first impression to potential film investors. You can compare a query letter to a cover letter, but for the film industry. Instead of including your resume, you include your film treatment and let the reader know your screenplay is available upon request.
